Acid Reflux Disease Causes.

If you belong to the three G’s brigade, grab, go and gulp, then you are a prime candidate for GERD. This rushed eating is one of the acid reflux disease causes.

Similarly, if you eat too quickly at home and also eat too much, this is putting your whole digestive apparatus under pressure. If you are too full and then have a nice siesta, this is asking for trouble, You can avoid these situations by going for a walk as any movement will stop the acid reflux from coming up into the gullet. Also, drinking a glass of water will certainly help.

If you thought that dairy products like milk could be soothing and you happen to drink a quite a lot of it, then you may be doing yourself a disservice as the milk, while initially soothing, actually creates proteins and acid which can only aggravate the situation. The same goes for any dairy products which are mildly acidic and also contain fats which you should avoid, or at least consume in moderation.

Another one of the acid reflux disease causes is our actual consumption of acidic foods and those which will relax the LES (oesophagal sphincter) so that the acid will back up into the gullet. The main culprits seem to be alcohol, coffee, chocolate and citrus fruits like oranges and lemons. I have found that eating an apple will certainly help as it has a low acid content.

Of course in the long run, there are risks as the acidic content can damage the delicate lining of the gullet as it does not normally encounter this visitor. There are therefore long term risks if GERD is a chronic problem as that can damage the lining . It could also lead to cancer of the oesophagus.

The problem of inflammation and irritation is not a problem in the stomach as it has a protective coating as it normally encounters the acidic content as we digest.

Another solution is to produce more saliva to help the digestive process. Chewing gum which is not mint flavoured can be a help.

Why not check out these holistic heartburn relief at home remedies if you are feeling uncomfortable? You will notice the difference very soon, once you put these into practice.

How To Eliminate Your Heartburn Permanently

Why are you so worried about how to eliminate your heartburn permanently? If you are like me, you know that the liquid contents from our stomach which happen to be going the wrong way can do a lot of damage. As the lining of the esophagus is rather delicate, it can wear away that lining and that could actually be one of the causes of cancer there.

If you want  some heartburn relief natural remedies here are my two favorites. One is to take a small amount of s cider vinegar but the taste is very bitter. You can sweeten the pill by just adding honey. Another way, if you do not want to take g honey is to actually put the spoon with the cider vinegar towards the back of your mouth and then swallow it ! Anise and fennel seeds are also great, I believe.
Some acid reflux symptoms are not so obvious and some patients just do not have any the classic heartburn symptoms. But they may suffer from dry coughing, bad breath and a bitter taste in their mouth.

But what about how to
eliminate your heartburn permanently ? Diet and lifestyle changes can actually work wonders. Reduce intake of citrus fruits, coffee, alcohol and spicy foods. Increase your consumption of the green leafy vegetables which are not acidic and very easy on the digestion system.
If you have heartburn symptoms and are convinced that a holistic natural approach is the only way to go, why not learn about a five step method which will really eliminate this condition permanently and allow you to live your life again, without ever having to worry about an indigestion remedy before you go to bed !

Is 'Heartburn No More' A Real Possibility? 3 Ways To A Natural Heartburn Cure.

If you suffer from heartburn, like I do, you will probably be looking for ways to deal with it naturally. I want to set out three steps you can easily take so that heartburn no more will no longer be a slogan or an empty promise.

First, let us look at the damage that antacids can do to your health and why we should steer clear of these , as much as possible.

I know about a case of a woman who wanted a heartburn cure desperately and started taking antacids and went on like that for over eight years ! The problem with these medications is that they contain both aluminium and magnesium hydroxide and this poor woman had absorbed about 15 kilos of these metals during that time.

The main problem in using metals like these is that they interfere with the healthy development of our bone tissue. This woman finally gave up her heartburn cure with antacids because she had pain, stress fracture and muscle weakness.

Here are three ways to help if you want to know how to cure your acid reflux.

1. Make sure that you never lie down when you start burping or begin to feel the burning. Stay standing up as the force of gravity will help to keep the acid in the stomach and help you to feel better. Try to wear loose clothing so that you do not feel oppressed by them.
2. You can help the digestive processes by producing more saliva without swallowing any more food. The best way to do this is to chew gum but you can also chew raisins. What is happening is that saliva is going gown and helping your digestion.
3. One of the best ways for a heartburn cure is to use a teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in some water. I know some people who recommend mixing honey with slippery elm root. This is a great natural way on how to cure your acid reflux.

If you want to know more about Heartburn No More, you can read about a completely natural holistic cure so that you will never need antacids again.
